Adjudicating complaints
Complaint/correction requests will be promptly responded to and considered by the Complaints Editor, who will contact the relevant journalist and assess the complaint. If, after all relevant information is to hand, the complaint is considered valid, agreement will be sought with the complainant about rectification at the earliest opportunity. If no significant error is detected, the complaint will be rejected, and the complainant notified accordingly. If not satisfied with the outcome, complaints can be escalated to the Managing Editor. This person may convene an editorial board to reconsider the complaint. If found to be valid, rapid rectification of the error is a priority.Notification of outcome
Complainants will be notified of the outcome of the decision by phone or email within two days of the decision.
The POST always has its finger on the pulse and covers the issues that affect people’s day-to-day lives.
With so many challenges in the media landscape, we are very lucky to have a truly independent source of local news every week.
Kate Chaney, Curtin MP
I have enjoyed a long, successful relationship with POST Newspapers over almost 30 years, and have greatly appreciated the help of the advertising and community news staff.”
John Yean Wei, Area Senior Instructor, First Tae Kwon Do
We have been advertising with the POST since we started our business 15 years ago, and have found it to be one of our strongest forms of marketing in terms of tangible response and positive feedback.
Leah Barrymore, Plata Bonita, North Fremantle
The POST is without any doubt the best form of display advertising we have ever used.
Because it's a weekly publication, and the quality of the journalism is so good, people tend to keep the newspaper in their house for the full week until the new edition arrives.
Greg Rossen, Rossen Real Estate
Thanks to the POST, the 'Frontrunners' event had a dramatic increase in numbers of participants directly after the article ran. On top of that, a lot of extra publicity was gained in other media as a result of the publication of the article as well.
Jason van Straalen, JVS Real Estate Australia
Our article in the POST drew the attention of many people, including non-Mod readers who emailed their congratulations on actually printing the book!
Robyn, Perth Modernian Society Museum Association Inc
The amazing coverage the POST gets is really getting the troops organised for a walk on the odd Sunday. I handed out sticky label name tags for everyone and I used up 45 and I noted at least three more people joined us. Quite a crowd!
Marion OAM, See Subi on Sunday walks
Unlike many free local papers, the POST has real journalism. Our rationale is that if people like reading the paper, our ads are more likely to be read.
Managing Director, McKenzies Auctioneers
The catalogue sale bookings in the POST went so well that the client was keen to have another ad before Christmas.
Client Director, Carat
Although a small business, the POST has a huge influence. Is there any other newspaper in Perth that devotes so much space to our local nature? No there isn’t.
Margaret Owen | Chair | Friends of Underwood Avenue Bushland
We’re very much embedded in the western suburbs as is the POST, so its a fantastic place to advertise, its readership is strong, its local, and people pay attention to the POST, they're actively involved in it.
Gemma Johnson | Director | Start2Finish Renovations
I’m all about women’s health and community engagement so the POST has been the perfect way for us to reach our locals.
